Interior of the log cabin at Rivers Bend
This log home sits at the neck of a peninsula, situated such that the living room and sunroom overlook a sweeping bend in the river, while the master bedroom looks out at an entirely different stretch which is actually over a quarter mile downstream as the river flows. Custom woodwork is present throughout, including hand carvings on the front door and mantle. The entry and kitchen feature cork floors, and the granite countertops in the kitchen evoke memories of clear streams flowing over gravel beds.
